Regulatory Investigations

Albert & Will represents financial institutions and their employees in regulatory matters brought by the Securities & Exchange Commission, FINRA and other self-regulatory organizations and the California Department of Corporations. Mr. Albert previously was an attorney with the Enforcement Division of the SEC.

Employment Litigation

Albert & Will provides representation in a wide range of employment litigation. We handle cases involving wrongful termination, breach of contract, discrimination under state and federal law, and promissory note disputes. We also have extensive experience handling "recruiting" cases involving allegations of misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, violations of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and related causes of action.

Commercial Litigation

Albert & Will has the experience and expertise to litigate a wide range of commercial or business disputes. These matters include breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, unfair competition, disputes arising from Business & Professions Code §17200, insurance disputes, trade secret claims, trademark litigation, real estate litigation and other business related matters.

Professional Malpractice Litigation

Albert & Will also provides representation in matters involving claims against attorneys of professional negligence. These matters often include ancillary claims of breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, fraud and related claims.

ERISA Litigation

Albert & Will represents multi-employer pension plans in connection with claims for delinquent contributions or withdrawal liability and with respect to claims for breach of fiduciary duty. The firm also handles claims under ERISA relating to denial of benefits.
